First thing's first. I didn't really expect this to be that good. I received a free copy from Writersmelon in exchange for an honest and unbiased review. I had read a few horror anthologies before and they were disappointing. But this one clearly is different from the rest. More than anything else, it makes for an amazing reading experience. (Read this in the night just to get a better experience ;)).
A page turner right from the beginning, all the stories had me surprised. Each story goes on like this - First, there's a beautiful setting and then, something happens and it sends an overwhelming wave of curiosity followed by an ending which would surprise you. I  hate to admit it but I couldn't even predict one ending correctly. Maybe, this is what makes the book special. Each story surprises you and leaves you wanting for more.
Saying this book is satisfying would be an understatement. Sangeeta Mahapatra has done a great job in weaving the conversations, especially the one in Tick-Tock. Tough to pick favorites but Deja Vu and Tick Tock are a notch above the rest. Overall, it is compelling, refreshing and worth your time.
