Graffiti by Joanie Pariera - A review
Graffiti by Joanie Pariera
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
Graffiti makes for a very interesting read.
This book is a story of complex human relationships and the changing scenario we’ve been experiencing in relationships these days. There are many characters and each one has their own story. When the characters were initially introduced, I had a feeling that this might be a tiresome read but I was wrong. Almost all the characters, especially Rene and Vipin, were great except for Kunal’s. I think he should have had more development. The humour in this book was good with all the quirky characters and that’s probably why I was hooked onto it till the end. The emotions were real and relatable and that has to be the best thing about this book. I loved the way everyone ends up in the book be it Vipin (which was surprising, to say the least), Rene (my favourite), Mark and Upi (I saw this coming). However, I felt this book needed more editing. Wouldn’t recommend it unless you’re a grown up. On the whole, it’s a good book if you love reading stories with a mix of emotions and have deep meaning.
