Here's why you should watch a movie alone

Friend: Where were you?

Me: Movie

Friend: Who all went?

Me: No one.

Friend: You went alone?!!!!! (The stress on the ‘alone’ part is abnormally high)

The most annoying conversation I can ever have with anyone. Unfortunately, this happens quite often and they give me that is-something-wrong-with-you-bro look every time. Why? I don’t see anything weird with watching a movie alone. It’s perfectly normal. In fact, it’s the best thing. I’ve compiled a list of advantages about watching a movie alone, in this blog. Here goes:

1.   No waiting for anyone

2.   You don’t have to share your food

3.   You can watch the movie in peace (especially if your friend has a thing for predicting every single scene)

4.   You don’t have to look for specific seats. Last row, middle seat, corner seat, front row…Oh shut up!

5.   Nobody’s going to argue with you about the movie

6.   If you get emotional during a particular scene and cry, you have no one to make fun of you

7.   If you don’t like the movie, you can just leave! 

8.   You don’t have to worry about coming out in between the movie for a friend who has knack for punctuality

9.   You have enough time to let that lingering feeling about the movie to sink in

10.   You can watch a really bad movie without anyone abusing you

Here’s why I watch movies alone. There might be a few cons of watching a movie alone but the pros outweigh the cons. Go watch a movie alone and make your day beautiful
